Dear Rotarians,
It is with deep gratitude that I begin my term as President of the Rotary Club of Seoul. As we approach our 100th anniversary in 2027, this year will be a critical moment to strengthen our club and elevate our public image under Rotary’s global theme: Unite for Good. I wish to express my heartfelt appreciation to Past President Joe Dallao for his passionate leadership and unwavering dedication throughout the year. Thanks to his commitment, our club was guided with strength, warmth, and vision.
Together, we will focus on membership growth, impactful public events, and transformative global grant service projects that reflect our values and our presence. We aim to energize our club with creativity, compassion, and connection.
At the same time, I am honored to serve as the District 3650 District Grant Subcommittee Chair (DGSC)지구 보조금 소위원장 and as the District Service Committees Chair 3650 지구 봉사위원회 위원장. I will be in charge of international and local community service projects of the district 3650.
This year, approximately 300 global grant projects were carried out across 19 districts in Korea. District 3650 had less than 5 project this. With the support of all Rotarians and clubs, we will focus more intensively on service projects centered around global grants, both domestically and internationally, in the upcoming term.
These roles give Seoul Rotary Club be more active participating the various global projects.
I ask for your full support as we unite for good, serve with pride, and prepare to celebrate a century of service in Seoul.
Sincerely yours,
Sugar Han President Seoul Rotary Club |
